Apply First Aid

Our Apply (Senior) First Aid course is flexible delivery and comprises a pre-study component followed by a 6-7hr in-class practical course:
The pre-study consists of 140 MCQs which can be done
Online or a Hardcopy Workbook and on average takes 1-2hrs to complete. 95% of students and instructors prefer the Online method as it’s  convenient and cost efficient.  

Our courses are endorsed by APEC No: 031031001 as authorised by Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) according to approved criteria.

CPR

Our CPR course is a 2hr practical course (no pre-study) and includes defib (AED) training as standard.

(CPR can be conducted as a stand-alone course and is also part of our Apply First Aid Course.

Basic Emergency Life Support

Advanced Resuscitation Techniques

Our Advanced Resuscitation Techniques course is a 4hr practical course (no pre-study) and includes CPR, defib (AED) and oxygen resuscitation training.

Prerequisite for this course is CPR or Apply First Aid.
Advanced Resuscitation Statements of Attainment are issued same day and are renewable annually.

NON-ACCREDITED COURSES

Low Voltage Rescue:
This is a 3 hour course incorporating CPR (2hrs) and 1 hour of Low Voltage Rescue.
Each successful student receives our nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in CPR and a
Statement of Attendance in Low Voltage Rescue (wallet sized card).

Asthma Management (QLD Only):
In QLD, anyone wishing to purchase asthma reliever medication for first aid purposes must successfully complete an Asthma Management Course. This is a 1 hour stand alone course which can be incorporated into our national accredited Apply First Aid Course.
Our Asthma Management Course focuses on Exercise Induced Asthma and satisfies QLD Health ‘Specific Learning Objectives’.
Each successful student receives a
Statement of Attendance in Asthma Management (wallet sized card) which is accepted by pharmacists throughout QLD.
